Others say it was because Meyer couldn’t picture Edward as anything but Robert Pattinson, which messed up her writing and she wasn’t comfortable. Midnight Sun was an unpublished companion novel to the book Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer. Some say because she got hacked and the first chapters of the book got leaked.
